Rúna Sigrlinn

The Vikings saw time as something circular, not a straight line. The seasons came and went. For the people of the North, time was not something that passed, but something that always returned.

Rúna Sigrlinn is a tribute to this world. Our watches carry runes instead of modern numbers — specifically the golden numbers of the Younger Futhark, once used to keep track of solstices, equinoxes, and seasonal celebrations. Where others see seconds slipping away, we see eternal cycles of light and darkness, of beginnings and returns.

The name comes from the legend of the young Viking woman Rúna, daughter of a merchant. She was said to foresee the size of harvests, the strength of storms, and when it was time to set sail — and when not to. For this gift she was called Sigrlinn — 'victory light'. A guiding light that led her and her kin through the mists of time and stormy seas toward calmer waters.

Rúna Sigrlinn unites the old with the new. Our watches carry an ancient symbolic language, yet meet the present through their design: modern, comfortable straps that are stretchable, functional, and colorful. In this way, each watch reflects a journey through time – from the sagas of the past to the lifestyle of today.

To wear a watch from Rúna Sigrlinn is to carry a piece of the North, of myth, and of eternity on your wrist.
